The return process

1. Eligibility for Exchange & Return

Kenya, East Africa and Rest of the World (International)
  • You may return or exchange an item within 2 days of delivery.
  • Items must be in their original condition, unworn, and with all tags attached.
  • Items must not have been washed.
  • Items must meet hygiene standards and not have sweat, dirt or stains.
  • Items must be accompanied by the Styles by Alimma invoice(s) and the return email.
  • No returns for in-store collection - fitting room available.

2. Return Process

  • To initiate a return, please contact our customer support team on +254 (0) 7 400 700 63 or via email: support@alimmas.com. We send you a Return email
  • Pack your item(s) securely, including all original packaging, the invoice(s) and the return email, and drop it off at our store or call for a pickup service.
  • Please note that NO RETURNS will be ACCEPTED without the return email where our the Customer Support Team have initiated and cinfirmed the return.

East Africa and Rest of the World (International)

  • To initiate a return, please contact our customer support team on +254 (0) 7 400 700 63 or via email: support@alimmas.com
  • Pack your item(s) securely, including all original packaging, the invoice(s) and the return email, and send it to Styles By Alimma at the provided return address.

3. Return Shipping Costs

Nairobi
  • You MUST call our customer support team to initiate a return and drop the item(s) at our store or call us for a pickup service (at your own expense)

Outside Nairobi

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

East Africa and Rest of the World (International)

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

4. Refund Option

First of all, there are certainly justified reasons for a return. And if it is our fault, in these cases (see our cancellation policy and the returns policy) we will of course bear the costs of the return for you.


We also regret if our delivery gives rise to a justified complaint and will endeavour to rectify any inconvenience caused as quickly as possible.

Apart from the justified reasons, we take a critical view of returns

WELL THAT'S WHY:

The big companies are leading the way and we also keep getting the below kind of feedback: User and some Cleints will say:

"Why do I have to pay for my own return shipping, that's not in keeping with the times these days!" or "200 KES shipping costs are just too much! Then I won't order anything in your Shop"

But is free shipping & returns really modern and up-to-date?

If you think about what happens behind a normal order in an online shop, you might come to the conclusion that this service FREE RETURN offer is rather outdated.


After all, so much happens when an order is placed: goods are moved from A to B, the order is packed with various packaging materials, CO2 is emitted to transport your order from A to B and, last but not least, people who work on site also have to get from their homes to their workplaces (further CO2 emissions).

So does free shipping/return shipping really do our environment any good? Shouldn't we be prioritising completely different things by now?

FREE SHIPPING & FREE RETURN SHIPPING tell us:

"If I don't like it, I'll just send it back!"

"I only need the stickers for now, I'll order the rest bit by bit, it's free!"

And so we order (without giving it much thought) goods that we might not actually like, or we place lots of small orders instead of thinking in advance about what we really need!


We think so: Everyone should think about it in the checkout and make a conscious decision as to whether they want to spend the shipping costs on their favourite products. For orders over €70, we will cover the shipping costs for you within Germany. Thank you for reading our statement, understanding it and, contrary to general opinion, not having a problem with shipping costs.

You have a 2-days Return right.

If you are not satisfied with our products, you can return them.
Of course you can take the item(s) out of the packaging first. However, if you do not like the prodct(s), please take care not to remove any labels or other delivery information.


If you then want to return the item(s), the Products MUST be Unsoiled/i.e. not worn, you must leave the Item(s) in its original packaging. We can no longer sell any time(s) if it(they) is(are) dirty or unpacked in a bad way.

The following products cannot be returned:

Products delivered more than 2 days ago

Products that have been used, not in their original condition, products with signs of use and/or if stickers/labels have been removed

Basically, we hope you will not have any reason to complain at all.


It is our constant endeavour to deliver quality products in top condition without exception.

Product packaging:

Please pack the product(s) well. The return label must show our address clearly legible


Shipping or return shipping:

The parcel(s) can be returned via any shipping company.


However for the Nairobi area, we recommend using one of our partners (Motorbikers). We have agreed good rates with our partners, which you can also use.


Please remember that you have to pay the return shipping costs yourself.

The Package(s)can also be collected by us at your expense.

We will confirm and send you if needed a return label by email. After receiving our return label, you have 2 days to return the product(s).
